Cognitive Reflection Test

Short Description: This module includes a 3 item cognitive reflection test (Frederick, 2005). This short test is one of the most common cognitive abilities task used in economics, psychology and other behavioral sciences. These questions can enable researchers test laboratory results gathered from students in a large sample and also use the test scores in testing a large set of research questions.

Methodological Details: The participants were asked to solve 3 questions and a control question asking whether they have answered these question before. With two additional questions participants’ overconfidence levels were tested as well.
