Individual Preferences for Truth-TellingΒΆ

Short Description: This module elicits the two components of preferences for truth-telling at the individual level: the preference to be honest, and to be seen as honest. This allows studying heterogeneity in honesty preferences, classifying preference types and their prevalence in society, and linking the two components to important decisions and life events.

Methodological Details: Respondents were given two hypothetical scenarios and asked how they would react.
